Summary and Suggestions
Purpose of Practicum
​
The teaching practicum is a great avenue for the pre-service student teachers to experience what a real classroom setting is. It became an opportunity for every pre-service student teacher to reflect on how they should manage a classroom setting. For me, it is a great help on my part because I was able to create an idea on how I should teach to primary pupils when we will be exposed to both public and private school during our internship in the Philippines this october-march 2018.
Aside from helping every Pre-service student teacher on becoming better from the teaching field, the practicum also helped us to be expose to other's culture. I personally, was able to appreciate more the beauty of the diversity of culture. I come to realize that people has their own differences, beliefs and traditions. In conclusion,we should appreciate, respect and understand each other.

Outcomes of the Practicum
​
It was my first time to travel abroad. This travel of mine is an unforgettable one because I am out for an internship and a purpose. I know that this will help me become the better version of myself. I left the Philippines, and I welcomed Indonesia. For about 1 month of teaching practicum, it may sound a short period of time but you will really discover for something. According to my cooperating teacher, teaching is a process. you will not automatically achieve excellence. True enough, i find a great realization of myself. it is not enough that I just explain everything in front of the class without making any connection to my pupils, Instead, try to grasp them, try to communicate with them with a desire from your heart of teaching them and above all try to reflect on yourself where and what aspect you need to improved on.

The outcomes of my practicum is a metaphor of a road. In every move that you make, it is not always a smooth road instead, you went through uneven roads that tripped you, yet you stand up and gather the forces from the people who believe that you can carry out all the challenges.

The Challenges in Practicum
​
Challenges are part of the journey. During my teaching practicum,I find it hard to further explain my lesson because I could not totally understand the language of my pupils;but it made me realize that it is not the language and is about how you communicate them through heart by doing something that can make your pupils remember you.
​
Another challenge is on how I can make my instructional materials in time. Since the DLP of the school is not yet available for using, I find it difficult to present it using the traditional way because I have to look for a printing shop to print my necessary material after doing my layouts, but you have to accept the challenge because a teacher is flexible and you have to maximize the available resources that you have.
Overall Impression
​
The Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia Program allows me to discover more about myself as a future educator. It made me realize how exciting and challenging being a teacher especially that I am dealing with learners that is different from what my race is. It helps me to widen my horizon. The reflections I had in this internship will surely help me become equip in my chosen field.
Suggestions for Future Improvement

To the SEAMEO, the delegates are happy that you provided us with this very rare opportunity. I am looking forward that it would be participated with more universities and colleges. On the other hand, I suggest that along with the guidelines for the content of the blog is the criteria on how it will be evaluated.

To the next batch , no matter how difficult the journey is, remind yourself that you can. In dealing to learners, communicate with them through heart.
